The spectrum of operations performed at the clinic for ear, nose, and throat diseases includes operations of the tonsils and of polyps, eardrum implants, tympanoplasty with reconstruction of the auditory ossicles, stirrup operations for improving hearing in cases of otosclerosis, exposure of facial nerves in cases of facial paralysis and fracture of the petrosal bone as well as formation of new auditory canals in cases of ear malformation, operations within the laryngeal cavity, corrective operations of the auricle (flap of the ear), plastic operations of the nasal septum and the external nose. With all these operations, the method preferred is endoscopic surgery, which is gentler than most other methods. Microsurgical operations of the ear are performed with state-of-the-are laser technology.

Patients suffering from sleep apnoea syndrome or snoring are diagnosed and treated.

In the area of stationary treatment, cases of sudden deafness and noise-induced hearing loss (Walkman, discotheques, occupational noise) have increased dramatically.
