he "green ladies" want to make the stay at the hospital easier for everybody. The voluntary workers visit the patients in the ward, bringing time for personal matters of concern, conversations, company, reading to them or doing some shopping, accompanying them to church, and similar things. The Ecumenical Hospital Helpers are also active in the nursing homes, helping to care for the residents.
